Reich is a German company founded in 1975. Apart from producing movers they built all kinds of caravan accessories. Most water taps in a caravan are from market leader Reich. The factory is located in Eschenburg in the German state Hessen, where 150 employees work. In the Netherlands and UK it has affiliates. The Reich movers are largely made and assembled in Germany. AL-KO is a part of the biggest axis factory in the world, the American Dexter Axle. The original German company, founded in 1931 by Alois Kober, specialises in the manufacture of chassis for trailers. AL-KO is market leader for this product. The Mammut mover is developed by AL-KO itself. AL-KO AMS Mammut The Mammut mover is optimally suited for mounting under caravans from 2010 that are fitted with an M stamped into the chassis. There is no loss of ground clearance, which can be a big advantage for lots of caravans. A fitted Mammut M-20 only weighs 32 kg.
