CaravanMoverShop specializes in caravan movers. We also provide maintenance and repairs, even if you didn’t buy the mover from us. Our mechanics are mobile and are able to provide help on location. We carry out maintenance and service for all brands. We follow a standard protocol which helps us to find and solve a malfunction fast. When you visit us we first check whether the mover is fitted correctly and if the battery is working properly. Then we will fix the problem. By using this systematic approach we are able to find the underlying problem and solve it. We value a good guarantee and when formulating our advice we looked closely at the warranty conditions. The warranty conditions and way of handling them may differ per brand and model.

On the movers that we sell and install such as Reich, Truma, AL-KO and PowrMover there is generally a 5 year warranty period. Apart from our guarantee, you can also claim the guarantee from the manufacturer and its European network service. With Reich you are entitled to a guarantee of 5 years, with AL-KO and Truma 2 years. If you decide to fit the mover yourself the warranty is 2 years, but out of leniency we have chosen to extend this with another 3 years . On the Go2 Rh2 mover the warranty period is restricted to 2 years and you are not entitled to the use of the Truma service network.

Optima batteries are not without reason the batteries that are best suited for the mover. The technology is mature, there are no children's diseases. We recommend the use of an Optima AGM-battery. Therefore we provide our mover with a CTEK battery charger. These high-quality chargers were originally developed by Optima and are therefore ideal for these (and other) batteries. Through our many years of experience with batteries and battery chargers we are the only webshop, that is allowed to carry the CTEK-Certified-Specialist logo.

Another AGM-battery has a lower quality than an Optima AGM-battery, the benefits apply only to genuine Optima AGM-batteries. Make sure that you buy an original Optima battery. There are many other batteries that look similar. The name yellow top is not protected so any other battery manufacturer can use this name.

The disadvantage of the higher purchase costs of an Optima battery is completely compensated by the advantages compared to conventional batteries in our opinion. Optima batteries are about 10 kg lighter and considerably smaller. The batteries are spillable, as they contain no liquid. The battery can be mounted in any position, even upside down. You don't need a battery leak bin and no battery drain. The Optima battery has a three times longer life than a conventional battery. Also it can be stored for long periods, without being connected to a charger. Hibernate in the caravan is also no problem, if you fully charge the battery and release the battery clamps.

If you unexpectedly have a problem with the products purchased with us, the problem with the product will be resolved as soon as possible. We will ask you to send an email in which you describe the problem. You will then receive further questions, or a guarantee number and a step-by-step plan on how we can solve the problem.

Many faults on a product such as a mover can easily be rectified by telephone explanations from our technicians. A common problem is, how do I turn on the remote control ... and if that is successful, how do I automatically move the reels to the belt. It seems simple; but every product is protected against accidental use and after a year it is often unclear how it worked again.

As a rule, you can not contact the manufacturer or importer directly with this brand.

Spare parts

If you have damage, or if there are problems after the warranty period, the brands PowrMover, Reich, Truma, and AL-KO offer an almost complete range of spare parts. So, if you have a small problem after the warranty period, you don't have to buy a whole new mover. You can often solve the problem with a separately ordered spare part. The spare parts of most movers are guaranteed available for 10 years. In addition, we have the most extensive range spare parts used and new in stock.

Hallo Herr Gerbrand, Herr Mulder,

Wir haben nun die erste Testfahrt mit unserem Wohnwagen erfolgreich abgeschlossen.

Es ist eine Freude wie die 3,5 Tonnen sich jetzt mit dem alten SIM Park Mover wieder bewegen lassen.

Ihre vorgeschlagenen Massnahmen: Austausch der Kohlen, neue Optima Batterie die nur für den Mover zuständig ist und die verbesserte Installation haben sich bewährt.

Selbst auf lockerem Schotter hab ich den Wohnwagen um 180° drehen können. Das wäre vorher unmöglich gewesen.

Ich bedanke mich nochmals für die gute Beratung und den Top Service bei Ihnen in Groningen.

Op uw verzoek geef ik hierbij mijn ervaringen door. Bij aankomst in Hoogkerk werd ik zeer vriendelijk ontvangen en hebben we de uit te voeren werkzaamheden doorgenomen. Een eerdere plaatsing van een mover bij een ander bedrijf bleek niet volgens de regels te zijn uitgevoerd. Uitgebreid werd mij duidelijk gemaakt welke onvolkomenheden er waren. In overleg werd besloten dat een nieuwe accu geplaatst werd op een andere plek waardoor de afstand tussen de aandrijfmotor en de accu voldeed aan de normen. Tijdens de werkzaamheden werd ik voortdurend op de hoogte gehouden van de voortgang. Al met al duurde het een paar uur voordat alles volgens plan is uitgevoerd. Daardoor vielen de kosten hoger uit dan ik hoopte, maar de in rekening gebrachte werkzaamheden en materialen zijn zeer zorgvuldig met mij gedeeld. Ik ben onder de indruk van de geboden service en deskundigheid van zowel Gerbrand als Cornee (goed gespeld?).

Beste heer/mevrouw,

Op zoek naar een Optima accu en Ctek acculader kwam ik al vrij snel op de zeer duidelijke website van de CaravanMoverShop.
Daar vond ik precies wat ik zocht en voor aantrekkelijke- en zeer concurrerende prijzen.
Direct mijn bestelling geplaatst en kort daarna keurig per mail op de hoogte gehouden. Kreeg al snel een mail dat het door mij gewenste
(op mijn eigen verzoek) diezelfde middag kon worden afgehaald in de door mij opgegeven vestiging in Veenendaal.
De medewerker aldaar was zeer klantvriendelijk en nam de tijd om mij het juiste gebruik van de oplader en accu uit te leggen.
Ik kreeg van hem zelfs het advies om de door mij meebestelde accuklemmen niet los maar als setje te kopen. Scheelde weer een paar euro's.
Na de aankoop werd de accu door de medewerker uit eigen beweging in de kofferbak van mijn auto gezet! Mooi gebaar!
Al met al vind ik de totale service geweldig en ik zal de CaravanMoverShop dan ook zeker in mijn omgeving aanraden!
